Tomorrow’s Show Was the Trump-Epstein fumble actually a fumble or a ploy? Some Trump watchers think this was all a contrived scheme to get the Democrats to demand the files be released. The thinking is that if Trump and Bondi just rolled out the Epstein files as promised, the Dems would have cried foul and called it a political stunt to humiliate various Democrats and the supporters. By creating a “there is nothing to see here” argument it will give Trump the high ground as in “you asked for it” and “I did not want to do it” posture. This means Bongino was probably “read in” or may be an unwitting stooge in the melodrama. It’s somewhat hard to image that Trump, who is quite a busy bee President, has time to dream up this sort of scenario and pull it off. But a lot of Trump mavens think it may be going on. To complicate matters Ghislane Maxwell is making a fuss and wants to testify before Congress where she says she will name names. Exactly why she has not had any jailhouse interviews is somewhat strange in the first place. And her threat to testify seems to put her life at risk, Then again, she might be protected.
