Google are you listening-Facebook Down

OMG did you know Facebook went down yesterday?  Of course you did because everybody just had to mention it on twitter or blog about it!

When I am not using READER on my IPAD to read my RSS feeds, I'm reading them using Google Reader on my computer.

Now, the question I have for Google (Are you listening?).  Since I already know Facebook went down and I can search all of my feeds for all of the stories, what I want to be able to do is mark them as read.
