Did you know that you do NOT have to actually go through with the upgrade just because you purchased it, right away? In fact once you have purchased the Windows 8 Pro upgrade it will download to your computer and then give you the opportunity to burn to a DVD or save it to a USB Thumb Drive (4gb minimum size). That way you can install it (on the computer you downloaded it to) any time down the road. I say "on the computer you downloaded it to" because during the purchase the computer configuration was checked to see what version of operating system you are currently using. If you have 32bit or 64bit version means the disk or thumb-drive will only install on another windows o/s that is the same. As well, during the purchase you are given the Certification key so it is important you keep that with the disk/thumb-drive as you will require it when you install. Of course if you install from the file that was downloaded then this key will already be inserted as you start the upgrade.
So what are you waiting for, you know you are going to want to upgrade sooner or later. In my opinion if you are currently using any operating system other then Windows 7 such as XP or Vista then you most definitely will want to take advantage of this cheap upgrade.
