As of late there have been a lot of windows updates. Part of the routine Patch Tuesday by Microsoft has resulted in 15 or more "critical updates". If you are reading this and are an existing client of mine then you should DO NOTHING, as it is either automatically scheduled to install and/or it will be done by myself on a priority basis. What does this mean? First of all Microsoft determines what is "critical" and what isn't however that may also cause issues with various computers, having it automatically install something. In fact my own personal experience shows that 1 in 15 computers will have a problem with any 'critical update' installation that is automatic and so unless you are using Windows 7 or 8, odds are I have disabled this automatic feature.
So what should you be doing? As always, any time you get a notice or prompt that there are updates available and/or any time you are unsure of something, simply contact me and I will deal with it ASAP!
