In 1889 it was co-opted as International Workers Day and mostly seen now as a Communist celebration, stealing the joy of the holiday. When is the last time you saw a maypole?

Doomsday Chinese Missile China has developed a massive Soviet-style launch vehicle called the Long March 5B which it is using for its own Space Station. Calculated to be the third most powerful launch vehicle in production, it’s not much talked about in the mainstream corporate media. Well, one of these monsters is apparently tumbling in space and slated to slam back into the earth who knows where. Hope for the best.
