The Polio DTT Connection Redux John ranted on the last show regarding Candice Owens’ fast-talking assertion that Polio is BS and part of a big pharma scheme in the 1950’s, before big pharma existed. This managed to bring numerous No Agenda Producers out of the woodwork who were previously introduced to this thesis in one form or another. While highly entertaining, much of the force of this thesis which looks reverse engineered, to say the least, stems from the Lyndon LaRouche crowd, namely his acolyte William Engdahl who promotes this along with other fringe conspiracies better than anyone ever. If you want to have fun look at his free essays and check out his booklist, then go to his website. Warning, this will keep you busy for hours. The key to understanding this sort of writer is they use a slurry of mostly facts (some obscure, which makes this work better) and accepted assertions to develop fanciful unproven “facts” that you wished were true, but are never proven. In his essay on the “Dark Origins of the Great Reset,” he wraps it with this gem (below), which is typical. While fabulous it gets an eye-roll from anyone with a critical eye to roll. Note how he deftly jumps from fact to assertion to wishful thinking to conclusion based on the wishful thinking. Bang, bang, boom. “Before he [Maurice Strong] was forced to leave the UN in disgrace over an Iraq Food-for-Oil corruption scandal, Strong was member of the Club of Rome, Trustee of the Aspen Institute, Trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation and Rothschild Foundation. Strong was also a director of the occult Temple of Understanding of the Lucifer Trust (aka Lucis Trust) housed at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, ‘where pagan rituals include escorting sheep and cattle to the alter for blessing. Here, Vice President Al Gore delivered a sermon, as worshippers marched to the altar with bowls of compost and worms…’ xviThis is the dark origin of Schwab’s Great Reset agenda where we should eat worms and have no private property in order to ‘save the planet.’ The agenda is dark, dystopian and meant to eliminate billions of us ‘ordinary humans.’” Much of the acceptance of the Polio scam thesis also stems from the credulous “viruses do not exist” crowd who seem comfortable in that thinking. There is a large audience segment that wishes for simple answers to complex scenarios. Often the idea of identifying a few scheming creeps – Soros is the best example – and blaming them for everything, puts a lot of people at ease. |
