| Tomorrow's Show Besides Ukraine and Gaza, the big news this week revolved around the Congressional hearings targeting Anthony Fauci and Merrick Garland. This was theatrics of the highest order but it did bring to light the fact that the Democrats are supporting Fauci to an extreme, no matter what anyone testifies about. Whatever he says goes. You can understand this position regarding Garland, but Fauci? What do you think that is all about? First of all you always have to assume that these people are sincere which means they are incredibly credulous. The notion promoted to liberals in the 1960's and 70's to “Question Authority” has faded to an extreme. There was even a bumper sticker circa 1970. This should tell you that this was promoted because of the tendency of the left to be taken in by all sorts of nonsense. It's no coincidence that the same people who were told to question authority have been unable to question anything, especially supposed authority. Hence climate change, defund the police, Trump is a threat to Democracy, get more boosters, transgenderism, socialism, pangolans as the source of Covid and on and on. This has to be blamed on the government directed educational system. But also on flaws in ideology. |
