Tomorrow’s Show Things seemed to have slowed down since the government shutdown version of the game “chicken” where two cars drive at each other to see which driver will veer away first and becomes the “chicken.” This version is a little one-sided and was started by the Democrats who want the trillions dollars in screwball spending returned after it was lost in the Big Beautiful Bill. Plenty of people have outlined some of the nonsense which includes a lot of promised NGO money for liberal causes. The Dems are emphasizing the cuts to Medicaid for illegal or undocumented aliens by couching the money as “taking healthcare away from Americans” as if they would be kicked out of an open system somehow. Meanwhile, the food stamp SNAP benefits are set to expire today and everyone is threatening to rob stores if that happens. In California, thanks to the Governor and prop 47, people have been freely robbing stores already so nothing changes there. This decriminalizing of petty theft will soon be implemented in NYC and we will see how that goes. None of this bodes well for the Democrats who are currently expected to re-take the House of Representatives next year. They are in the process of blowing it and have dug themselves into a hole with this game of “chicken.” By re-opening the government now without achieving the goal of getting back their trillion dollars worth of junk, they will look like weenies who caved. By continuing they are going to lose more and more support, especially from the unions. Let’s just summarize. The Senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, is an idiot. |
