Tomorrow’s Show The news has deteriorated into a nonsensical back-and-forth between the right-wing media and the left-wing media, with Trump throwing kerosene on the fire. This is a reference to the so-called “seditious six” Congressional Democrats calling for military and CIA folk to refuse to follow “illegal orders,” as if there are illegal orders being given. The rightwing says this is an obvious seditious wink-wink to troops and CIA to disobey anything coming from Trump. The leftwing, playing out the innocent “who me” act, is saying no no no it’s just a simple reminder to obey the law. Then, as it was simmering, Trump posts something like “SEDITION is punishable by death!” Then we has reverse role with the leftwing saying Trump wants to kill the Congress members and the rightwing saying, “Who, me?” The whole thing is a farce created by the “seditious” initial video that may have actually been orchestrated by Chuck Schumer since it has that lame Schumer quality to it. You think this all came about because it is a slow news week, but it is not. Trump did a whole comedic sketch around the idiotic “Turkey pardon” claiming Biden’s pardons last year invalid because they were done by the autopen. He went off on a lot of people. Before Trump leaves office he has to do the White House correspondents dinner event and go up there and do a 40-minute skewering of everyone he can before he leaves office. Why not? But the week was not slow with the Marjorie Taylor Green fall out plus the possible end of the Ukraine war. Also China’s Xi called to invite Trump to China this spring. None of this is trivial. The bickering over the stupid video is dumb. |
