Tomorrow's Show When, in American history, has a presidential campaign begun with opposing sides are convinced that the candidate for the other side is a fraud and a criminal? In fact students of American history know that this is normal except with some superstars such as Eisenhower who ran against a squeaky-clean Adlai Stevenson immediately after WWII. It usually doesn't get to the point of actual indictments, but now that Rubicon has been crossed, so it will become common, just like in a banana Republic. Why not? After the last election numerous pundits were calling for a military coup, so we're already there. It's only been pretense and the rare honest politician (Eisenhower) that has kept the full deterioration from taking place. Just look at the two very sketchy impeachments for more proof. As has been said on the No Agenda Show over and over, all the USA is missing from the banana Republic profile are shanty towns. And they are on the horizon. They just need to be formulated. |
