There are things to note when you want the home phone line. What used to be called "dialtone" or "landline phones" are not really true dialtone (which actually has a little power going through the telephone cable), is now nothing more then a part of the same internet cable (mostly fibreoptic) and so your telephone utilized Voice Over IP (VOIP). The main thing to note is this phone will NOT function when the power goes out so if you are an essential service operator and require 'dialtone' then you need to discuss directly with the telephone company.. Good Luck with that and plan on paying handsomely!
The main reason for this posting was to make people aware that you can and will save money when you visit your online provider.
I just checked my current 1.5 GB which I was paying $140/month for currently is $130 for 2 GB on a 2 year plan. So I get 500 mb/s more internet speed for $10 /month less.
So what are you waiting for? Go check your internet provider plans.
