Tomorrow’s Show The mainstream media has egg on its face for not covering the brutal murder of that poor Ukrainian woman on the light rail in Charlotte, NC. The story feeds numerous narratives on the right and the left. The right says it exemplifies the problem with soft-on-crime policies as the guy had been arrested 14 times already for various criminal activity. Even his mother thought he should be locked up for good after beating up his own sister. The left and the liberal media say this about racism and making a lot out of nothing. It’s just another excuse to implement a Trump fascist agenda. It’s an awkward if not silly position, but expressed with nervous sincerity. This sort of philosophical impasse has no solution that involves a compromise. There is no compromise between such positions. And most of the current political positions from crime in the streets, immigration, international trade, and even medicine and COVID boosters are simply intractable. One side will win and one will lose, there is nothing in-between. This means that policy will only be implemented by the people with the most votes, period. But there will always be resistance. So by using biased arguments the key is to get people to switch sides on the issues. This flies in the face of the notion that the Democrats must “get real” or jump on board with Trump or change their ideas. It’s not about changing ideas, it is about getting people to come to your side of the argument. Right now the Dems are losing ground, but the argument made by Bernie Sanders that this would shift if the party went to the extreme left is gaining traction and will solidify as Zoran Mamdani gets elected Mayor of NYC as he appears destined to do. It’s then when the great experiment can begin – running NYC as a socialist city-state. Since NYC is a capitalist banking world center, this will be amusing to watch. When Mamdani is thwarted and begins to complain about it saying roadblocks are preventing the imagined Utopia, hilarity will ensue. Only your No Agenda Show looks at these political and cultural changes objectively so you can understand them fully. Support the show today. |
