The Thursday Show
The upcoming show has an abundance of material with the Australian election results in, and Obama’s dilemma taking new and interesting turns. Also, it looks as if John Kerry and his flub machine will get a permanent segment. Who knew that this guy would be so much more entertaining than Hillary ever was?
And, of course, there is the media. Here’s an interesting tidbit to consider. This week commemorates the 40th anniversary of the overthrow of the elected government of Chile and Salvador Allende who was replaced by Augusto Pinochet. This coup was orchestrated by the US Government led by Nixon and Kissenger after much prodding by the CIA. Besides landing right on the 40-year depression cycle the event itself took place on September 11. Yes, 9/11. (And Today is September 11 and marks the 6th week cycle which we will discuss too.)
What’s interesting is how the news outlets covering this 40-year-old event never once comment upon the coincidental 9/11 date for fear of being branded as “truthers” or conspiracy nuts or whatever. So they ignore the coincidence completely, fearful of even mentioning it like some superstitious old woman afraid to say anything bad because it may come true.
Ignoring this sort of item and not even mentioning the coincidence is one of the reasons that your No Agenda Show is so superior to what is presented by both corporate and alternative media as news. Even Democracy Now, which did a long special on this anniversary, not once said anything about the coincidence.
It’s hard to understand. The No Agenda Show will always speculate on these coincidences, code words and numerological mysteries such as the number 33. It’s interesting and needs discussion.
