Producers,
This week promises to be lively as we head toward show 555 on 10/10 as well as our 6thanniversary at the end of the month. Please do anything you can to support us by visiting the support page or clicking here to support the Thursday show.

Obviously, there is a lot to discuss tomorrow. The government has shut down once again and the politicos are finger pointing like crazy. Meanwhile, websites are artificially down while the new Health.gov site is purring away with numerous glitches making it impossible to use.

If any interesting facts appear, we’ll address the sudden death of Tom Clancy, the author who explored various military and intelligence underpinnings of current events.

Adam will once again discuss his dealings with Silk Road, a site that was finally taken down by the FBI. Now the agency is going after the numerous clone sites out there. The owner of Silk Road was discovered and arrested. This will be interesting as it unfolds.

On the last show you heard a peculiar clip from the Intelligence hearings where Sen. Wyden hammered Gen. Alexander about location tracking of individual cells phone. Alexander hemmed, hawed, and refused to say anything. This is because location data is being collected after all, as suspected. With more Snowden leaks the situation is becoming a comedy.

Here’s a good story in TechDirt about how the Chief Privacy Officer at DHS was harassed for doing her job and commonly called a terrorist. This short piece shows you how low government officials have sunk in this country. Despite taking an oath to uphold the Constitution, they prefer to act like reprehensible creeps. This problem appears to be worsening.

Tomorrow’s show promises to be another winner and we hope you agree. And please continue to support these efforts.

Thank you,
John C. Dvorak & Adam Curry
