No Agenda-The Saturday Memo

Dear Producer, 2018 continues to be a mediocre year insofar as support is concerned. Analysis of this phenomenon varies from simple negative growth to comments such as “there are so many podcasts to listen to nowadays that I cannot listen to No Agenda as much as I used to.” The show, despite chaotic current events may have outlived its usefulness. The dedicated No Agenda fans seem less enthusiastic. Ask yourself what would you do if the show folded? Did you do enough to keep that from happening? And, worse, people in general are taking the value-for-value model less seriously. For example one of the most popular subscription models is the $4 a week sustaining contribution. This is the 75-cents an hour donation. Compare the No Agenda 75-cents an hour to a typical audio book(once known as books on tape, now just a download like a podcast) offering. The price runs from $3 to $5 an hour. Examples. Madeline Albright’s new book, Fascism – a Warning is 9 hours and 53 minutes of New World Order globalism propaganda and sells for $30.79. Then there is the Neil de Grasse Tyson book, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. It’s 3 hours and 41 minutes for $17.47. It is no more interesting than any single 3 hour-plus episode of the No Agenda Showbut you are paying over $4 per hour of material. We provide over 26 hours of news, information, observations and amusement per month. If a month of No Agenda was an audio book it would be worth between $78 (at $3/hr) to $130 ($5/hr) every month. The $33.33/month subscription is a steal when you think about it. Too many of you have listened to the show, recognize the hard work that goes into each episode and have felt no obligation to ever contribute. This is, by far, the majority of people. The rationale is that it’s free, and if No Agenda wants money then it should use advertising, a corrupting mechanism that would prevent much of our material from being reported. Advertising would result in a shallow “brand-friendly” gabfest of no particular consequence. Is that what you want? The show needs some serious support, especially from those who have never contributed or have stopped. Click here and help with anything you can. Newsletter Kicker There are number of problems you should have with the messages (in bumper stickers) carried on this car. Looking carefully, you have an overall message that hates whites, hates children, hates Trump, hates the Bible, hates religion. Then in the corner the "Notice" says that bigotry is unacceptable. How is all this hate NOT bigotry. This is pure cognitive dissonance. It can happen to anyone, but No Agendahelps fight it for you. Support the show.
