Dear Producer, Tomorrow’s show falls on a very historical day. It’s fascinating how some specific dates are more historic than others. Everything from the Duke of Windsor marrying an American to the crash of the Concorde jet in Paris took place on June 3. I say. give to the show mates, because the Royals never will. While on Twitter recently I ran across this piece of Photoshopped nonsense – the exact kind of mischief  that plagues the Internet. And something constantly debunked by No Agenda. Harvey Weinstein and Anthony Weiner were never given the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Bill Cosby was awarded the honor, but it was given by George Bush. Clinton did receive the honor because all Presidents since the inception of the award were all given it. The award is so corrupt that Obama gave it to his own Vice President, Joe Biden, who was not known for anything besides drinking too much. Understanding the mechanism of a hoax is something you learn on No Agenda. (This is particularly true when you write in and pass one along as fact). Most hoaxes such as the one above are based on believability and wishful thinking. Often they are too good to be true. Americans are world class geniuses at perpetuating such nonsense. But on No Agenda we see these crazy memes actually creeping into the mainstream and witnessing how they “stick” as bogus facts. The various Syrian gas attacks which we have harped on are good examples. The “97-percent of all scientists” attest to man-made global warming is another. These are twisted promotions turned into fake realities. These media creations are worse than the stupid Photoshopped gags because they become part of the fabric of reality used by the media to frame events. Only your No Agenda Show finds and debunks these deep lies which are used to deceive you and those around you. And this work cannot be done without your help.
