There is a lot of news, mostly pre-election blather, vitriol, exaggerations and twisted facts. Let’s see what changes after the Tuesday results. Unless they are complete incompetent boneheads, the Democrats should re-capture the House of Representatives with a majority of maybe a dozen seats.
This immediately changes the structure of the committees. So instead of Devin Nunez running the House Intelligence Committee, it will switch over to Trump-hater and constipated turtle, Adam Schiff.
Just about to lick his eye. Wait for it.
This also means the Impeach Trump crowd will have a few more supporters,but not really enough to actually get anywhere. What they will get is the ability to have endless hearings, which is always a source of entertainment for your No Agenda Show.
It all obfuscates the bigger worldwide stories including the seemingly endless drama stemming from the chopping up of Jamal Khashoggi at the apparent behest of Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud otherwise referred to as MBS.
As you recall, Adam has already predicted his ouster although he may have more chops (dubious choice of words) than you think.
MBS should have already put together a kangaroo court and found “conspirators” behind the murder and dismemberment of Khashoggi, if it actually happened as Turkey claims. For those interested, there are excellent backgrounders here, here, and here.
The last article discusses the weird beef between MBS and a tweet (shown below) out of Canada merely complaining about the arrest of some Canadian activist.
This caused the Canadian ambassador to get kicked out of Saudi Arabia and other hellish results. This was an early indication that MBS might not have the ability to control himself. Then to chop up a relative nudnick like Khashoggi in Turkey just because he was a complainer, drew serious attention to an unacceptable instability and Captain Queeg-like paranoia.
Other schemes such as his desire to clone Dubai in the middle of nowhere as well as an inability to fix the embarrassing war in Yemen are all adding up to bad news.
MBS is a mere 33 and almost the exact same age (you will hate this) as Hitler when he a tried to overthrow Germany in the failed Beer Hall Putsch of 1923. He was imprisoned, and a decade later was back and running things.
