Working on a paper dealing with Covid-19 in Canada and was doing a comparison of flu deaths, since Covid-19 has very similar characteristics, being a corona virus. Since 2020 and 2021 are Covid-19 years, the flu statistics simply do not exist because everything was designated as a Covid-19 death.
What I found interesting and rather shocking, although if you listen to the No Agenda Podcast, you should not be THAT shocked...
From the stats Can website here you can see the Statistics in Canada from 2015 to 2019 with all deaths and their ranking. For 2019 you will find that Influenza and pneumonia were ranked 7th that year with a total of 6,893 deaths. Divide that by 365 days to get the daily total of 18.88 deaths a day from the flu.
If you are like me, you have been following the Covid-19 cases globally from a trusted source. As far as being trusted.. even if the numbers are not completely accurate for the site you are using, it should at least be consistent the entire time you have been monitoring it. For me I have been using the Worldometers.info website here. Looking two days ago there were 7 deaths in Canada and yesterday there were 5.
It seems to me if there are normally 18+ deaths each day in Canada from the flu and there are only 5 deaths in Canada it would seem that we are not only back to normal but we are better than normal!
This is now truly making sense when Dr. Fauci stated in all his confusion how "American's don't need to be wearing masks" early on last March of 2020, then in later months was recommending wearing 3 masks, followed by no masks again. It is no wonder the world is the way it is now.. just take a look at all the Fauci Mask reports.
Further study shows US Population in 2019 as 328.2 Million with CDC reporting April 4, 2020 anywhere from 24000 to 62,000 deaths from the flu however many websites average higher like this one that I will use for this study as it shows 66,211 for the USA. This works out to 181.4 deaths per day from the flu/pneumonia. Currently the Worldometers.info site shows 87 deaths from Covid-19 two days ago and 121 yesterday. Following these numbers, all of these deaths could very well be the flu.
