The Emmy Awards took distant second fiddle in the ratings to the early season Sunday Night Football Game. There were no real political moments, but the major TV networks seem to be going out of their way to promote pay-TV and streaming services. All the awards went to Ted Lasso, a show that produced a whopping ten episodes in an entire year and the Crown, a melodrama. One is on Apple TV, the other on Netflix.
