Always remember that Social Security was initially set up as an insurance that people paid directly into and which would be recovered at retirement. It was separate from the general fund. The fact that the money was basically stolen and mixed in with everything else is shameful. The joke is that people still pay directly into the social security system but it's a scam. The real bad actor is the military expense. Not that spending on the military is a bad idea, but because none of it is accounted for. Yes, some of it is accounted for, but the government has not been able to audit the Pentagon and this continues to be the case. So nobody is accountable for anything. For all we know a dozen Generals and a dozen Admirals are pocketing the money. Perhaps a pot full of cash is going to the Biden family. Nobody can say. Here, read this classic story about the new jet trainer the T-7A. A decade late. Is this a sign of competence? A joke. What is with the A.I. Fear-Mongering? Can someone explain the thesis that A.I. Is going to kill all mankind and leave the planet with no humans whatsoever. This is what a slew of science freaks are declaring with little or no evidence. This is all because ChatGPT can write an essay that reads OK? Or that Dall-E, the art generator, can do spot art showing a credible skyline and threatens the clip art business (examples below). Somehow this morphs into the end of mankind and civilization as we know it. Get a grip people. This has got to stop. Also... The weird planted stories about RFKJr's son Conor Kennedy. How we are supposed to run out of Ukraine funding in September. The decline in network TV and why. Plus the latest on the transMaoist movement.
