Tomorrow's Show The show has mentioned the ludicrous reaction to the Durham report and how the mainstream media has either completely ignored it or mocked it as a “nothing burger” thus reintroducing the dumbest phrase in the history of broadcasting Clips of creep Joe Scarborough ranting about the report as useless garbage were played on the last show. Most critics of the report used, as an excuse, the notion that because there were no indictments or no specific recommendations in the report, the report was useless. This is despite the fact that this report totally debunked (to an extreme) any notion that the two-year long Trump investigation into his collusion with Russia and his possible Russian agent status was anything other than a political dirty trick and a hoax. And you should note that hoax still ended up with some sort of impeachment proceeding. In fact, there are still shows on network TV that promote the Trump Russia collusion. The ABC show “The View” is an example. Pundits and reporters such as Matt Taibbi, Joe Rogan, Glenn Greenwald and others have been condemned for calling it a hoax. Taibbi and Greenwald have, with others, been blackballed from certain news outlets. And this condemnation continues to this day. And while this 300 page report debunks collusion thoroughly (as have numerous books on the subject), this myth continues unabated in the mainstream. John's next door neighbor still thinks Trump is a Putin allied traitor to the country. This is thanks to the Hillary Clinton campaign. This situation alone and the obvious absence of any apologies for these blatant lies by the likes of NPR, PBS, NYT, Wapo, NBC, CBS or ABC is reason enough to turn away from these so-called sources of news and develop your own alternative information feeds to keep you apprised of current events. This should include your No Agenda Show which is not affected by advertising or a political agenda pushed by pharma or bankers. Also keep your money away from PBS and NPR, Look askance at the advertisers who are on NBC and the other networks. Rethink your media consumption. |
