It has been brought to my attention this morning by numerous client email wondering what the email from Itunes telling them of strange activity on their account. Either a song has been purchased or a book from their library, along with a link to sign in to your account.. DON'T DO IT!
First of all the red flag should go off any time you get a WARNING notice in an email that then provided you with a link they want you to click on.
If you are wanting to check on this, in the case of Itunes, simply open your itunes program, click on the store and log in and check your activity. If you see strange activity then immediately change your store account password and then notify Apple Support of the strange activity.
You should NEVER be clicking on any link within an email you are uncertain of, even if it is from a reputable place. Before you click, think about why it is you are clicking. The best method is to open your Chrome browser and visit the website by going there yourself that way you are not being sent through a potential phishing scam.
