This is the time for sharing. Traditionally people meet with family and friends during the Thanksgiving Holiday and get things back to normal on Monday orTuesday. Your No Agenda Show works during this time and produces two shows. Think back and recall some of the exclusive discoveries and analysis done by the show for you.
The No Agenda uncovering of the Air Traffic Control recordings of the Bolivian President’s aircraft suspected of carrying Snowden was a perfect example. All the news sources discussed that event as though the plane was “forced to land.” The pilot requested to land. We had the recording between the aircraft and flight control. The mainstream and alternative news media both stayed with the phony meme knowing it to be a lie.

No Agenda gave you the real story.
And then there are the 911 Tapes from Sandy Hook. Nobody but No Agenda ever played them. Everyone talked about them but never played them. Why? Because they were both boring and revealed more anomalies about the event.

And what show besides No Agenda played the entire incendiary rant by Michael Brown’s step-dad in Ferguson, MO? Nobody.

Pent-up hostilities against ever more militarized local police departments nationwide was really what this was all about. The difference between your No Agenda Show and the top mainstream broadcasts are pointed out in this amusing NY Daily News article citing Don Lemon and Megyn Kelly as two terrible news anchors unable to understand Ferguson.

The disconnect between the public and big corporate mediais not different than the disconnect between the police and the black citizenry of Ferguson, Missouri.  With both the media and the police befuddled by increased rejection.  No Agenda fills in the gap and explains the problem, in ways that make sense.

Sunday Show is Still Grim

 

Dear Producer,

Again, we face a miserable Sunday with lackluster donations so far. Please end this trend. If you have not contributed to the show in a while you should please do so today.Click here for an open-ended donation of any sort.

As you know Adam is in Amsterdam where he’ll be cold and miserable himself. Or maybe not. Whatever the case, we’ll have one of our best shows on Sunday as our International angles will be higher than usual thus giving you unique perspectives unlike any other news analysis show anywhere.
In the meantime, I found some interesting reading for you including this story about the ex-cheerleader, now in her forties, who was charged with the rape of a 15-year old boy who turned her into the police. The story, cited here, is interesting in itself, but the cultural implications of the comments about the story are far more interesting and entertaining. It shows all sorts of societal disconnects that make you shake your head.
On the other end of the spectrum, it appears that Bill Clinton has finally given up on veganism before it kills him.  He does not look good. An interesting discussion of fat vegans ensues. Have fun reading this story.
 
I can assure you that tomorrow’s show will be more important in the scheme of things than these amusing side stories. Make sure of it by contributing today! The support page hereis a good place to start.

The Cost of Convenience-Amazon

When it comes to shopping online it is quite clear nobody does it better than Amazon. Amazon is amazing, especially with their PRIME service which for $99 per year gives you unlimited 2 day free shipping on Prime products, as well, if 2 days isn't good enough you can pay an additional $3.99 for 1 day shipping. That is a drop in the bucket when you need it now.  Amazon uses UPS and in the past year have added the USPS to the list of delivery options which you do not have a choice about.That being said, there are times when the 2 day shipping doesn't arrive in 2 days. For me that has only happened a few times, once when there was a blizzard going on and planes weren't flying so the delivery was delayed by 1 day. The other two times it happened to me, it was when the package was shipped via USPS. The bonus to USPS would be that they now deliver on Sundays!  In the USA, mail service is already on Saturday so this mean 7 days a week you can get things from Amazon.. that is, when USPS works!  My most recent package didn't arrive in the 2 days and unfortunately it was going home with a friend (from Canada) so now I would have to ship it to them. Customer Service at Amazon is also pretty amazing as I was told to simply let them know how much it costs and they will cover it... the part that I was very sad about is in order to send it in any reasonable reassurance it would get there, I sent it UPS and so the $60 items which was initially shipped for free (2 day amazon prime) was now being shipped to Canada for $127.. knowing that a full year of Amazon Prime is $99, the customer service rep could have just dismissed the issue by crediting my account for another year and I would have been quite happy but instead they covered the costs of shipping this package. Pretty awesome but what does that do to the bottom dollar of the company? Amazon is huge, we all know that, but according to the share holders they are losing money... it is no wonder if they continue to provide this sort of service.  In hindsight, I could have quite easily paid the $3.99 extra and had the package arrive in 1 day, knowing it would have been shipped via UPS it would have arrived on time and I could have saved (amazon) all that money.  So where does this leave other online shopping websites? So long as they offer free shipping at a reasonable time frame they may be ok. The bottom line still must be the cost of the product however, and if I can drive to the local Walmart and buy it for less money and have it NOW then that is still going to win and so the battle for supremacy in home shopping continues!

Scamming the Senate with Fake Photo

Senate rejects Keystone Pipeline thanks to Babs Boxer

It’s more important than ever that you support the No Agenda Show because no other resource will provide you with twice-weekly news analysis that exposes outrageous liesthat are fed to the public and even to the elected representatives by each other.
Look at this photo of Barbara Boxer, US Senator from California. Throughout the debate over the Keystone XL pipeline she discusses how the tar sands crude would make matters worse at the Port Arthur Oil refinery outside of Houston. Twice she brought up this photo of the supposed refinery as a background to this playground saying kids ran away from this playground.

In the background as you can see, the refinery is smoking from most of its stacks in ways that are illegal and would be cited by regional air pollution authorities if not the hard-ass EPA. And, generally speaking, any smoke coming from an oil refinery since the 1970’s would only be emitted during an emergency and only from the flares. That’s unless the place was exploding. This picture is ridiculous.
Here is a random Google street view image of this refinery, one of the most modern in the world. It shows zero emissions. Where is all that smoke scaring the children?
Here is the playground. Go to Google maps here to look around this park. Where is the background refinery as shown by Barbara Boxer? It’s not there. From the angle of the swing set compared to the hanging tire the shot was taken from behind what you see here. But, in fact, the refinery is straight ahead. Unless there is a duplicate park with the same hanging tire and red poles the refinery cannot be seen from anywhere around here.  Again, go look for yourself with Google street view.

This is Roosevelt Park, two closer parks, Bryant and Bluebonnet do not have the hanging tires/swing set with the red poles. And there is no visible refinery from those either.
Anyone in the US Senate should have seen this Photoshop fraud photo for what it was, but nobody said a word. The entire hearing was theater. A charade. The level of corruption or outright stupidity in the Senate is at an outrageous level. No modern refining or manufacturing facility in the USA of any sort would be pumping this much black smoke and still be operating. Who are they trying to kid with this sort of fakery?
