There is no doubt Steve Jobs can now be considered as a legend in this day and age of computers and technology. Having the vision is one thing but to what he managed to do, to move technology to the next level on each and every product that was produced was simply outstanding. The world has truly lost a key component to future technology.
With the most recent release of the IPhone 4S there will be many early adopters flocking to get their hands on one, only to find themselves pissed off when the IPhone 5 is released, quite possibly before Christmas, but regardless if it weren't for these early adopters, the tech would simply not be thrust forward as quickly as it currently is. The unfortunate problem with new tech, especially with items like the IPhone and IPad that require communication plans through the wireless provider who demand you lock in to a multi-year contract is what hinders on the ability of tech to be constantly new. The best thing we as consumers can do is embrace the tech to its fullest by buying the products outright and not settling for any contract.
