October 5, 2021 is the official release date of Windows 11 which means, if you haven't already, start getting notices that your computer is 'not ready'. In general, without spending too much time on whether or not the hardware needs updating or just the software, figure out how old the computer is. Anything 4 years and newer will likely work without a problem. Anything over 4 years old may not.. for now.. Since you should budget 5 years for any computer, anything over that is bonus and that includes the operating system.
